Grand Conversation Writers
We are just beginning to encounter Grand Conversations in our home the way I have heard talked about in Charlotte Mason circles since I read my first blog post almost ten years ago. At the time, with toddlers and babies in arms, all my hopes and dreams were merely plans and schemes. They have not all panned out, of course. But now, so many years of intentional choices later, I do find myself living out a few dreams in real life. One of them is this amazing gift of meaningful conversation with my children. Even after years of intentional, foundational development, I still find the larger discussions so amazing. Just this morning, we had a rich conversation about our American History topics for the term and I found myself so grateful for a way of life that allows for deep and conscientious thinking. I am excited to bring the joys of this topic to our readers.
