Habit of Reading

Charlotte Mason believed that books contained the knowledge necessary for living well, seeking God, and loving others. She dedicated her life to helping others understand how to use the knowledge inside books to unlock opportunities for growth, always pointing her teachers and students to the importance of reading as a habitual exercise. Mind to mind, page by page, whether a lot or a little, she knew that it was in the consistent practice of reading that her pupils would find their own education.
