Anticipate

Maria Von Trapp says that "one of the greatest things in human life is the ability to make plans...{because} even if they never come true—the joy of anticipation is irrevocably yours."

As the leaves begin to fall and we anticipate the fulfillment of our first school terms or the coming of the holidays, it is the perfect time to take a look at the many ways in which anticipation can surprise us. In the unknown, through the trials of everyday tasks, in our connections with the great ideas we are discovering, may the joy of anticipation be ours.
